Someone needs to tell Marvin that JJ's a woman. ^_^ That aside, I agree with bob p a lot. This was the nastiest I think I've heard Marvin be.
Oh, my goodness. That is glorious stuff. Thank you.
I gotta say, Marvin seems a lot more "real" than say Stephen Bennett (not to mention more likeable).
I dunno what that says, though, or about whom.
(can we set up a dialogue between Marvin and Burray Hill? a debate, perhaps? that would be kick-ass)
uh that would be Murray Hill. perhaps with a cold.
Wow, Joe, that is a very cool way of putting it, in fact, liberating.

I have a question for all of you...should I show Marvin your comments or just let him cool off? I normally fax him comments once every few days, but I worry that he might not be ready to hear what you have to say. What do you think?
belledame222, good to see you! Murray Hill, huh? Hmmm, the only Murray Hill I know is a NYC neighborhood. Tell who is this Murray Hill you speak of?
It seems to me like maybe Marvin reacted defensively and might later reconsider his position, or at least his attitude. Most people have shot off at the mouth and regretted it later at least once in their lives.
Perhaps Marvin just needs some time to consider why he reacted so harshly to what was really a fairly innocuous comment.

He is a fine upstanding member of the community, and, although not gay himself, has been a strong voice for the lgbt people.
...specifically, thinking of him because his previous run for mayor proves that he would be a good choice for a debate.
